A Bitter Pill

It's 3:30 in the morning and I'm wide awake. Pumped with a ton of pharmaceuticals that are supposed to keep me calm, relaxed with a better sense of clarity. And asleep. They do nothing of the sort. I just wish If I have to live like this I could do something productive. Hell, the dogs aren't even in the mood to play. I hate being this tired and angry. I'm to tired to read or make any noise cause everyone in the civilized world is asleep. And this all adds up and I become angry and frustrated. I know there is no magic pill. I hope in my lifetime there is one that has all the good stuff with none of the bad. The side effects alone are why so many people quit taking them. I wouldn't take then for years too. Buts it''s either live like your crazy or give someone a shot at trying to make me a whole real person. It's sad really I was more of an extroverted person when I drank and did drugs recreationally. Now I'm just a shell, and a large one at that, of a shell of what I used to be. I would love to make music but I can't hear any cool licks in my head anymore. Writing is a joke. I do have a idea for a record. Instead of a concept album I will call mine a contraceptional album. Cause If you play it with any girls around your not getting laid. Therefore I have done my part to make the world a better place. Here have a Coke.

My good friend Brent Jones who still works at Capitol Records (God bless his soul) saved some of the crazy emails I used to send out at Capitol. Here is an example. Now you probably have an idea when they decided to lay a bunch of people off why I was probably high on the list:

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 9, is amended by
adding the following new section:
§39-17-921.

(a) A person commits the offense of distributing unlawful sexual devices when the person knowingly sells, advertises, publishes or exhibits to another person any three-dimensional device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs, or offers to do so, or possesses such devices with the intent to do so.

(b) A person commits the offense of wholesale distributing unlawful sexual devices when the person distributes for the purpose of resale any three-dimensional device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs, or offers to do so, or possesses such devices with the intent to do so.

(the bill outlines punishment for possessing such "3D devices" -- up to $50,000 and 10 years in jail! who knew latex novelties could be so subversive! maybe we could all let him what we think of this. maybe he just hasn't met a dildo he likes yet. maybe we could rectify this. on a side note... i was listening to On Point regarding the new TN abortion legislation and one of the lawmakers ACTUALLY said that restricted abortion laws are all about REDUCING SEX. it was the end of the interview so there was no follow-up. it was like seeing the Wiz in the booth. they could give a shit about BABY KILLING -- it's the sex they are worried about .
